PAIGE HADLEY IS ONE OF THE BRIGHTEST LIGHTS IN WORLD NETBALL, WHERE SHE STANDS AS ONE OF THE MOST DECORATED PLAYERS IN THE GAME AND A ROLE MODEL TO UP AND COMING JUNIORS.
Having won at the international level with the Australian Diamonds and in the Super Netball for the NSW Swifts, Hadley has proven a valuable asset on court by her ability to not only fill but dominate every role in the midcourt.
Hadley’s journey began in Penrith, where she was born and raised in Sydney’s west. She was raised in a sports loving family that instilled the value of hard work from a young age and played an active part in the local sports community.
Attending Hills Sports High School and St Marys Senior High School, she proved the bright spark wasn’t just on the court by earning an impressive Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 97.8.
After winning a scholarship to study at Western Sydney University, Hadley juggled her study while setting her sights on her dream of playing Netball at the highest level.
The Australian Institute of Sport beckoned and in 2012 she breakthrough for her first appearance with the Sydney Swifts and just one year later found herself in the green and gold of the Australian Diamonds.
Like every journey, the ups come always with the downs, and 2014 provided the first major hurdle of her career when she ruptured her ACL during a training session, side lining her for 10 months.
In a testament to her character and work ethic she bounced back to reclaim her spot in the Diamonds 2015 World Cup winning squad and pull the strings for the Swifts in their 2019 and 2021 premiership victories.
At 30-years-of-age she co-captains the Swifts in the ANZ Championship alongside Maddy Proud and embodies leading by action.
She has a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from the University of Western Sydney and is engaged to her long-term partner. She enjoys time with her immediate family and large circle of friends while constantly looking to better herself.
Hadley is clean-cut, honest, empathetic, diligent and the perfect team player. She is a fitting ambassador to any brand that stands for these values.
